Microsoft Office 365 is a series of products based on Microsoft Office. It is a complete suite of productivity and collaboration software, which can be used on the desktop, laptop, tablet, and even web-based application. The suite comes with Microsoft Office applications for social collaboration such as: Microsoft Works, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. It also contains Microsoft Office Mobile, which is a set of productivity apps available for iOS, Android, Windows Phones, and Blackberry. The other Microsoft Office applications are available through other companies.

Office 365 can be used to manage all your emails,

calendars, contacts, and tasks across multiple Microsoft Office applications. In other words, you can organize your information in such a way that you will not be spending a lot of time remembering the various places where you have already accomplished something. This will help you be more productive since you won’t be spending a lot of time searching for a particular document or task. The other benefits of using this software are:

Microsoft Office 365 commercial version comes with features that are geared to make your life more organized and less stressful at the same time. You can share important documents, such as presentations with anyone in your company by setting up one or more group email addresses or your professional plus family email addresses. These can be joined together via the Sharepoint portal, which is now known as “Exchange Server”. Your groups can now have shared folders, calendars, and documents, which will be accessible to all the members of your organization. When you purchase Microsoft Office 365 commercial editions, you will receive four to six months of free technical support, which is included in the plan.

Microsoft has announced that it will be offering two subscription options for its new cloud-based productivity suite, namely: a small business service plan and a home premium service plan. According to Microsoft’s official website, the primary feature of Sharepoint for business is “sharepoint development platform”. Sharepoint helps small businesses and home-office employees manage multiple sites and collaborate on work by adding various collaboration tools, such as rich Internet application platform (RIA) and eConnect.

Microsoft Sharepoint will mainly be included in Microsoft Office for business in the new plans aimed at small business users. The service will start on January 1, 2021, with the first small business users having access to it on a trial basis. It is estimated that over 300 million people use Sharepoint in their organizations today. Sharepoint will enable business people to: create websites, share files, calendars, contacts, emails, and others; and make shared documents easily accessible from all the devices they are using.

Another product that Microsoft is introducing is Microsoft Office Professional Plus.

This is an online version of Microsoft Office that is aimed at business professionals. Business professionals may use this version to gain access to corporate-level email, calendars, desktop, and web applications, Project Online tool, SharePoint Online, and many other features. At present, it has been integrated with SharePoint tools. SharePoint is a web-based file management system that offers access to information stored in Web sites, websites, emails, calendars, and others. Microsoft SharePoint solutions will also help you organize and share data with colleagues and clients at any time and from any place.

One of the solutions that Sharepoint will bring is the ability to have different storage per user – a feature that Active Directory Users will never get. Microsoft Sharepoint Services offers unlimited scalability, even if your company expands in size over time. Storage capability allows one person to own storage as well as bandwidth and hard drive space for a given employee. There is no need to hire more employees to manage storage for your employees as they would with Active Directory Users.

  • Microsoft is also introducing two other solutions this year, namely, SharePoint Server and Business Portal for IT professionals.
  • SharePoint Server will allow companies to host applications on their own server so that they can avoid installing software on each machine.
  • Business Portal will allow business users to manage their virtual storefronts from their browser, and Yammer is getting ready to bring video conferencing and group chat capabilities to their users.
  • It will be interesting to see how these all play out over the next few years.
